Ordination/Consecration Pathway

Pathway Modules

In order to help candidates stay on track, the Ordination/Consecration Pathway has been broken down into 6 developmental modules. These modules are given 6-month timeframes, allowing the Pathway to be completed in 3 years. However, candidates can complete the Pathway in less than 3 years if they choose.

Each module will feature a Development Day (formerly known as the In-Service Retreat) that will connect Pathway assignments to ministry development and serve as an aid in completing position papers.

The modules are cyclical, meaning that candidates will enter the current module being offered by the district and journey through until they have completed all 6 modules.

Ordination and Consecration in The Christian and Missionary Alliance is the public recognition and affirmation of God’s call to men and women for a lifetime of service. The Christian and Missionary Alliance Board of Directors has determined the requirements for Ordination and Consecration. The Western PA District has been charged with their implementation and to ensure Ordination/Consecration is entrusted to called and qualified ministers of the gospel.
